Oil Painting Guidelines – Organizing The Palette
You should have the appropriate palette to start off with. Your current palette should be non-porous to avoid absorption of gas from the paint. Palettes come in a variety of distinct materials from goblet to wood. My personal preference is the Chad ROSS Clear Palette. I’ve discovered this palette easy and simple to clean and best for mixing colors.
When you’re first starting out, it usually is a good idea to start with a rather limited palette of colors. If you purchase every shade under the sun, you may find on your own mixing too many distinct colors, which will result in a muddy painting. Begin slow in the beginning, then add more colors as you grow more experienced. Color choices to get a limited palette change from artist to performer. Here are the colors involving my palette: Orange Ochre, Cadmium Yellow Pale, Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Orange, Phthalo Blue, Burnt off Sienna, Burnt Umber, Cadmium Red Method, Phthalo Green, Titanium White, Off white Black. I recommend purchasing 1.25 oz of tubes of all colors except Titanium White. Purchase a larger tube involving Titanium White, as you will be utilizing more of this shade.
First, you should get into the habit of laying out ones colors the same way anytime you paint. Case good practice and retains the painting approach flowing nicely. Arrange your colors down the edges of your colour scheme leaving a lot of bedroom in the center for mixing.
Don’t be frightened to squeeze out a good amount of paint, specially your whites. You’ll be more productive in the event you aren’t continuously ceasing to squeeze out more paint.

When introducing paint to the colour scheme, I have found that blending the paint outside in long lines, instead of puddles, keeps my colors cleaner. When you have puddles of fresh paint, they tend to get soiled by other colors when mixing. Which has a long line of fresh paint, you can just take fresh paint from the end as required and not dirty the rest. Keep some rags or paper towels convenient for wiping ones palette knife clear.

It’s a good idea to consistently wipe your colour scheme clean during the art work process. There is nothing much more frustrating then trying to remove dried up gas paint. Keep a few alcohol handy so as to keep the mixing section of your palette clear.
If you are fond of dance and bit over weight then you can try sigma lenses as easiest and most effective way.I can never imagine my life without this.
